Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager to expand the reach and profitability of our beauty salon. Focus on identifying growth opportunities across in-salon services and our e-commerce product line. With strong commercial acumen, a passion for the beauty industry, and experience in both B2C and digital growth channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase salon bookings and e-commerce sales.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to identify new revenue streams.
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with influencers, local businesses, wellness centers, and hotels.

Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Design and implement initiatives to attract new salon clients and online customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop loyalty programs, referral schemes, and promotional bundles.

Revenue Optimization

  • Track and improve performance metrics for both service and product sales.
  • Recommend and oversee upselling/cross-selling strategies within the salon and online.

E-commerce Expansion

  • Identify new product opportunities, bundle options, or cross-border sales channels.
  • Explore new online marketplaces or subscription-based models.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with salon managers, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure alignment.
  • Set sales and growth targets and support the team in meeting them.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce regular business performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Create action plans based on the reports

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of salon services and beauty product trends.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and online sales platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
